Our Story

I work full time as a primary care physician in Los Angeles and have a patient panel of over 4000 patients that spans across all the ages, genders, ethnicities and languages that you could find in such a large and diverse city as LA. During the COVID pandemic I became increasingly inspired to continue my work as a physician for what I hope will be a career that lasts a lifetime, but also recognized that I needed a space to cultivate the compassion, empathy and love I want to give each and every one of my patients. My life outside of medicine has generally been centered around gardening and spending time in the ocean, so when I began thinking of some resource or project that could balance my work, I looked toward cultivating a piece of the California coastline in parallel to my career in medicine.
